Peri Peri French Fries recipe

Peri Peri french fries are super easy to make and delicious to taste. In this recipe I will show you 2 ways to make these peri peri fries. One by marinating them with the spice mix and other with adding spice mix at the last.I will also show you how to make the peri peri spice mix in this recipe. So Let's start frying!!!!

INGREDIENTS
5-6 large potatoes
Peri peri spice mix(if you are not prepping them at home)
Salt
Oil for frying
Peri Peri Spice mix ingredients
Dried oregano
Red chili flakes
Peri peri pepper
Chili powder
Garlic powder
Ginger powder
Salt
A pinch of sugar
Cinnamon powder(optional)
METHOD
Peri peri spice mix preparation:
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl That's it!!! it is ready
Peri Peri Fries Procedure:
Julienne Potatoes(long thick stripes) and soak them in the water for about 15-20 mins
There are two ways to do this
Marinating it
Adding spice mix at the last
1 st Method
After soaking the potatoes take the potatoes pat dry add them in a separate bowl
sprinkle the spice mix and some oil on the potatoes and mix them well.
Marinate it for about 5-10 mins.
Now heat the oil in a deep fryer.Batch fry them.
Fry the potatoes twice i.e, fry them for 4-5 mins take them out ,pat dry and after few minutes again fry them for 5-10 minutes.
Your Peri Peri fries are ready!!! serve them hot!!!
2nd method
After soaking the potatoes take the potatoes out and pat dry.
Now heat the oil in a deep fryer. Batch fry them.Fry the potatoes twice i.e, fry them for 4-5 mins take them out ,pat dry and after few minutes again fry them for 5-10 minutes.
Take it out and sprinkle some peri peri spice mix .
Serve it hot!!!
Pro tip: put the fries potatoes in a paper bag add spice mix and shake it well .Doing this will make sure the potatoes are coated well.
